This is a project of joy. 

One day me and Jitske Wadman discovered each other. It happened through a mystical encounter where, alone by seeing each other's art, we recognized that we share a mutual friend: it was the city of Budapest. Our colors, our textures, our emotions resonated with each other. It was just natural, that we sat down to paint together. We told each other our memories, and through these memories a new world grew organically. We wanted to capture this world so we animated our paintings to show the atmosphere of sweet sweet Budapest early in the morning.

We were looking for a good tune for a long time. Right before were about to settle for a song that was kind of decent, the Worldstylers saved the day and allowed us to use their music for this animation. It was a match made in heaven! Thank you Wordstylers!
